TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to Lyrrx. We are the social messaging platform in which users post once-per-24-hours, and accrue no followers. 

In order to gain access to, and use, our platform, we require you to consent to our Terms of Service, (referred to as “Terms”), as outlined below. Your use of the Lyrrx platform constitutes your acceptance of our Terms. If you do not agree with our Terms, you may reject them, but then you will not be able to use our Service.

Over time we may suspend or discontinue parts of the Lyrrx app’s facilities (“Service”), introduce new features, impose limits upon certain features or restrict access to parts or all of the Service at any time. We will notify you if we make any material changes that might adversely affect you.

By using the Service supplied by Lyrrx you agree to be bound by the following Terms:

You must be at least 13 years old to use Lyrrx.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account name or username.

You are responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, screen names, graphics, photos, profiles, audio and video clips, links (“Content”) that you post, and display on the Lyrrx platform.

Lyrrx is a public platform, and so you should only post Content that you are comfortable sharing globally.

You are responsible for your use of the Service, and for any Content you supply, including compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. 

Lyrrx does not own your Content, but by agreeing to our Terms, and by submitting, posting or displaying Content on the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable, licence to use, copy, host, reproduce, process, publish, transmit, display and distribute such Content (consistent with your privacy and application settings), in any and all media or distribution methods now known or later to be developed. This licence will expire when your Content is deleted from Lyrrx.

You are responsible for keeping your log-in details and email address secure. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this directive.

You are prohibited from posting images of extreme violence or sexualised imagery, including, but not limited to, pornography, or photos or videos in which the sexual parts of a subject’s body are exposed.

You must not threaten, abuse, harass or intimidate other Lyrrx users.

You must not create or submit unwanted email, messages or comments to any Lyrrx users ("Spam").

You must not use Lyrrx for illegal or unauthorised purposes. International users agree to comply with local laws relating to online Content and conduct.

When using Lyrrx you must not violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

You are prohibited from any action that interferes with or impairs the intended operation of the Service.

You must not modify, adapt or hack the Lyrrx platform, or modify another website or app with the intention of falsely implying that it is associated with Lyrrx.

You must not access Lyrrx's private API by any other means other than via the Lyrrx application itself.

You must not crawl, scrape, or otherwise cache any Content from Lyrrx, including but not limited to, user profiles and photos.

You must not transmit any worms, viruses or any code of a destructive nature.

You must not use a domain name or URL in your username without prior written consent from Lyrrx.

We must not have previously deleted your account for a violation of the law, or for contravening any of our Terms.

You are prohibited from posting private or confidential information about someone else, without their permission, or to do anything that violates someone else's rights, including intellectual property rights (e.g. copyright infringement, trademark infringement, counterfeit or pirated goods).

We may reject your chosen username or similar identifier for your account, and ask you to change it, if we believe it to be inappropriate, infringes someone's intellectual property, impersonates another user, or is already in use by someone else.

You are prohibited from impersonating others. You also cannot create an account for someone else unless you have their express permission beforehand.

We can also refuse to provide, or stop providing, all or part of the Service to you (including terminating or disabling your access to Lyrrx) in order to protect the welfare or rights of other users.

All Content posted by Lyrrx users is their sole responsibility. Lyrrx does not take responsibility for such Content, and we may not in all cases monitor or control the Content posted on our platform.

We do not endorse, support, represent or guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy or reliability of any Content posted on Lyrrx, or endorse any opinions expressed via the Service. 

Any use or reliance on any Content posted on Lyrrx, or obtained by you through Lyrrx, is at your own risk. 

You understand that by using the Service, you may be exposed to Content that you might consider to be offensive, harmful, inaccurate, deceptive, false or otherwise inappropriate. The onus is on you to determine the validity, truth or otherwise, of Content on the Service.

We reserve the right to remove any Content from Lyrrx that we believe violates these Terms, our policies, or if we are required to do so by law.

Violation of any of these agreements could result in the termination of your Lyrrx account. 

You may end your legal agreement with Lyrrx at any time by deleting your account.

Updating our Terms

Our Service are constantly evolving, and so we may update or modify this Agreement at any time.

You agree that we can download and install updates to the Service on your device.

We will take all reasonable steps to let you know of any changes that affect you.

LYRRX — PRIVACY POLICY

The purpose of our privacy policy is to explain what data we collect from you and how we use it. 

To provide our Service, we must process some information about you. The type of information that we collect depends on how you use Lyrrx and its features.

We collect your personal data in order to:

• gather feedback to improve our Service to you.

• respond to any feedback you send us, if you’ve asked us to.

• send email alerts and notifications to users who have requested them.

• monitor the performance of the site to identify inefficiencies and errors.

• monitor use of the site to identify security threats.

• to track those who wilfully seek to abuse or otherwise do harm to users, or to use Lyrrx for illegal purposes or those that contravene our Terms.

Lyrrx is a public platform, and its posts are viewable and searchable by any person globally. 

However, you can communicate privately with fellow users via Direct Messages. 

When you use Lyrrx, even if you are just browsing through its posts, we receive some of your personal data, such as the type of mobile device you are using, and your IP address. 

When you sign up to Lyrrx we will collect your mobile number and email to verify your identity and secure your account. Verifying the identity of all our users also means we can track the identities of those who misuse the Service.

We also collect the Content, communications and other information you provide when you use Lyrrx, including when you create or share Content and message or communicate with others. This can also include written information about the Content you provide, such as photo captions or file dates.

Our platform automatically processes Content and communications that you provide, in order to analyse context and what's in them, for the purpose of determining topics you are interested in, in order to deliver you more relevant Content. 

We collect information about how you use our Service, such as the Content you view or engage with, the features you use, the fellow users you interact with, and the time, frequency and duration of your activities. 

Within Lyrrx, your Settings tab allows you total control over who can contact you. It also controls marketing preferences, account security and deactivation and deletion facilities.

What we do with your data

We will share your data if we are obliged to do so by law — for example, by court order, or to prevent fraud or other crime — or if we discover that you are in contravention of the law and decide to pass your details on to law enforcement.

We will not:

• sell or rent your data to third parties.

• share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

How we protect your data and keep it secure

We design, build and run our systems to make sure that your data is as safe as possible at all stages, both while it is processed and when it is stored.

We are committed to doing all that we can to keep your data secure. We have set up systems and processes to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure of your data.

How long we keep your data

We will only store your personal data for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out in this document, or until your account is deleted, or for as long as the law requires us to.

Our services are not designed for, or intentionally targeted at, children below 13 years of age. We do not intentionally collect or maintain data about anyone under the age of 13.

Updating our Privacy Policy

Our Service is constantly evolving, and so we may update or modify this Agreement at any time. Any changes to this document will apply to you and your data immediately.

We will take all reasonable steps to let you know of any changes that affect your personal data.
